Jake Kelly
HOK Consulting Founder and Director
In 2022 HOK Consulting was established in Liverpool, and the company was founded by Jake Kelly, who is an experienced sales professional with experience on both large corporate and SME recruitment consultancy. His focus was on relationships and very deep technical knowledge and long-term value.
Today Jake leads the team clearly and energetically, and with a steadfast knowledge that great companies are realised by great people.
How We Started
HOK Consulting was established in 2022 by Jake Kelly who has over 10 years of recruitment experience within both large and small recruitment consultancies in UK. Jake built HOK with a mission – to break the mold of the traditional model in exchange for providing strategic value, not just placements.
From the very start we have had a simple mission – develop trusted relationships, operate with the highest integrity, move with speed, and put the right person in the right seat at the right time.

I have progressed from junior recruiter to senior consultant in less than a year since joining HOK. I engage sourcing and facilitate a process to attract and recruit the minds we need to deliver our organisational goals. I have sharpened my interpersonal skills by building solid trust-based relationships with hiring managers and candidates. Simultaneously, I have improved my ability to make data-driven decisions and plan strategically—all to help HOK grow and thrive.
