India is becoming a major global hub for AI and cloud technology. This week, Microsoft and Amazon announced over 52 billion dollars in new investments for the country.
Microsoft committed 17.5 billion dollars to expand data centers and boost AI skills across India. A day later, Amazon pledged 35 billion dollars through 2030 to drive AI-led digitization, exports, and job creation.
These announcements follow Google’s earlier 15-billion-dollar investment, bringing total commitments from the three tech giants to more than 67 billion dollars.
Together, these investments strengthen India’s position as a key player in the future of global AI and digital infrastructure.
